UK cases are built to take anything, because anything can happen. They
are relied upon to protect valuable equipment under the most difficult
conditions. A must for virtually any portable equipment, test
instrumentation, emergency gear, safety equipment, etc.O-ring seals
keep all UK cases completely waterproof and airtight.
UK cases are incorporated into many products on an OEM basis, due to
the ease with which the shell can be machined and attachments made
through solventing welding. Accessory panel mounting rings are ideal
for attaching instrument panels to the inside of the case. All cases
are RoHS compliant for use in products shipped into the European Union.
The structurally reinforced ABS shell of a UK case will withstand
repeated drops to concrete and will remain stronger under cold
conditions than any other material used in injection molded cases.
Choose between padded fold-down handle or military standard
spring-loaded metal handles; durable snap action plastic latches or
military standard twist latches.
Features Make the Difference
Injection molded
The UK Dry Boxes, UltraCases™ and Loadout™ Cases formed from injection molded shells which fit together with a water tight, dust tight o-ring seal. They can be submerged to depths often exceeding 1 meter.
UK injection molded cases are made from high-impact ABS plastic
which is extremely tough and resists scratches, dents and corrosion. For modifications, ABS is machineable and can be solvent welded. UltraCases are normally available in Black. Yellow, Jet Grey and custom colors are available on a special order basis. Please inquire about pricing and lead time
The main seal of the injection molded cases is made from a
resilient blue silicone o-ring
and can easily withstand submersion in 1 meter meter of water as well
as seal out dust and many corrosive gasses. All UltraCases include a
pressure equalization valve built into the latch mechanism. When the
latch is opened, pressure is equalized. Loadout Cases utilize an o-ring
sealed screw down equalizer valve.
Stainless steel twist-lock latches and spring loaded handlesare standard on Loadout Cases. They are designed to meet Mil Specs.![]() ![]() ![]() |

Pressure Equalizer resin latches and padded handles
are standard on UltraCases, They are designed for maximum corrosion
protection and requirements for non-magnetic cases. Hinge pins and
screws are 300 series stainless steel

Full width hinges
with a stainless steel pin are used on all cases in order to maintain the maximum seal if a case is dropped. The pin and lid can be removed on all transit cases.
User configured closed cell dice foam filling
is available with all cases. Sections of foam are easily removed to cradle delicate objects. Custom cut foam is also available.

Panel mounting rings are available in Dry Boxes and Dry Cases.
The ring is solvent welded in place 0.5 inch below the rim of the case.
Brass threaded inserts (8-32) are embedded in the ring for rigid
attachment of an instrument panel. A foamed neoprene O-ring seals the
panel to the ring.

A glass fiber reinforced extendable handle
is a standard option for all transport cases. Because the handle is
attached to the outside of the case, the sealed interior remains
protected. The length of the handle is sufficient for tall people to
pull the case comfortably.

Large 3 inch wheels
with stainless steel axles are used on Transport Cases for easier rolling on gravel surfaces or rough pavement. Curbs are no challenge
