UK showcases new product designs for industrial use utilizing new advances in LED technology

Gatorlite 3C eLED

UK proudly announces the launch of the smallest, lightest, brightest and longest lasting 3 c-cell flashlight available: the Gatorlite 3C eLED CPO.

With an amazing output of 125 lumens, a burn time of over 32 hours, a depth rating of 100ft and a distance rating of 500ft, this new, high intensity light features the latest in LED technology, as well as in 3C hand light design, making it the brightest whilst delivering it in the smallest, lightest and most ergonomically designed package of its class.

Offering better visibility with rain, snow, fog, smoke or dust in the air, the Gatorlite boasts UK’s proprietary Compound Path Optics (CPO), capturing light and focusing it into a brighter, more concentrated beam with almost no “spill light.” Thus, the Gatorlite will not blind nearby personnel unless the beam is directly pointed into their eyes, an effect similar to the overhead lights used by dentists which illuminate the mouth without blinding the patient. This center weighted beam will not reflect off of particles in the air or water like conventional flashlights, making it ideal for industrial applications, firefighters, traffic direction by law enforcement and construction workers or anyone who is likely to work in smoky, foggy, rainy or dusty environments.

The new Gatorlite sports a more ergonomic belt clip allowing for a more comfortable and secure grip, as well as a large push button tail switch making it easy to use when working with heavy gloves. With a longer run time and a more penetrating light source, it is the perfect, safety certified work light for law enforcement, fire fighters and EMS personnel, industrial workers or anyone who needs a powerful, water resistant and reliable flashlight.

The Gatorlite also utilizes UK’s proprietary Thermal Recovery System (TRS) which recycles heat from the LED to warm batteries for improved performance and allows it to operate in lower temperatures than competing lights. Waterproof and rated for all weather use, as well as Class 1, Division 1 certified for use in hazardous gas locations, this small, handy light is big enough to outperform the competition in both freezing cold and wet environments and when flammable gases or vapors may be present in the air in sufficient quantities to be explosive or ignitable.

SL4 eLED

UK has also upgraded their most popular 4 c-cell handheld light, the SL4 eLED.

This small, very bright, compact light boasts over 400 lumens, tripling the output of its predecessor, yet is still rated to 500 feet; it also boasts an easy switch with the flick of the thumb or index finger. And with its compact size, lighter weight and longer burn time, the SL4 eLED is perfect for law enforcement and public safety divers in fire departments assisting the divers in evidence recovery and underwater vehicle searches.

Although not certified for use in hazardous gas locations, it can be used in any other industrial, fire or utility applications that require a lot of light, along with complete waterproof reliability; it is small enough to fit in a toolbox and, with UK’s waterproof construction, it will give users years of rugged, worry-free use.

While slightly more expensive, the improved performance – and peace of mind that accompany it – easily outweighs the extra pennies.
