UK International Expands Sales Force

Company to Enter the Outdoor Industry Marketplace

UK International has hired a new sales team to support its expansion into the outdoor market. 
 
The company, long respected for its high quality lighting products and innovative technologies, will begin a concentrated effort to design and market outdoor recreational specific products in 2007.
 
"UK International's vision is to bring our leadership in innovation and LED technology advancement to outdoor recreational consumers whose needs have not yet been met," said Michael Fattori, Director of Sales and Marketing for UK. 
 
"We are very pleased to have each of these highly professional agencies join our sales team," said Fattori. "Each of them has vast outdoor market knowledge and their past experience in providing customers with unsurpassed service will be an asset to both our retailers and to UK International. Their valuable insight and understanding of the market will be instrumental in helping us gain a leadership position in the outdoor marketplace."
 
To assist with the expansion the company has hired the Wild Moon sales group, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota to service the Midwestern sales region. Headed up by Chet Cisek and David Olson, Wild Moon is dedicated to providing excellent product selections to their clients and active service to assist in product sell through. 
 
Hartwell Enterprises, which has been established in the Outdoor industry for over twenty five years, will cover the Northeast territory. The team of Russ Hartwell, Lou Vardabash and KC Putnam pride themselves in representing some of the most prestigious companies over the last two decades. Each of the three participants has spent time in the retail industry working at various leading Outdoor stores.
 
Allyn and Maria Morton are the husband-and-wife team from Eastern Outdoor Sales who will service the Southeastern region. Veteran sales reps, the Mortons have worked in the outdoor industry for over 25 years and come to UK International with a wealth of experience in the outdoor industry, sales and the Southeastern territory. 
 
Treeline Sales will represent UK International in the Northwest. Tim Andis and Dana Sterling of Treeline Sales have more than 30 years of combined experience in the outdoor industry and their focus on technical products gives them a reputation of professionalism and trust that has helped them build brands and market share quickly and effectively. Having backgrounds in manufacturing and retail gives them a unique perspective on the businesses they help grow.
 
UK International also welcomes Specialty Reps West as its newly appointed agency for the California, Arizona, Nevada, and Hawaii territory. The agency consists of Richard Stone, Greg Kaiser and Ron Wayne who collectively bring 30 years of accomplishments in the outdoor industry. Their extensive and broad experience in retail sales, buying and management makes them highly effective in helping retailers make the best decisions to be successful with the product lines they represent.
